DO NOT HIRE! Please do your research when hiring local contractors. Don’t go with the first company that “seems nice” or “portrays confidence in a job.” Read all past reviews, look them up on BBB, ask for references! The Dirty Girls Landscaping company was hired to do a job they claimed would take a few weeks, 6 months later the job was still not anywhere near completion. They took a lot of money for the job, and then for months used excuse after excuse as to why they were not working on the job. Unfortunately, we chose them because they seemed like genuine people who wanted to help but took advantage of us and refuse to give back even a portion of the money requested, as we were willing to pay for what little work was completed. The Dirty Girls should not have taken this job as it was clearly out of their realm of expertise and they were unable to communicate their lack of ability to complete the job. As stated above please, do your research and believe reviews even from years past because they are clearly a representation of the work, or lack of, you can expect from this company. Do not get taken advantage of by Dirty Girls Landscaping just because you want to support a small business!

Scheduled a quote. They didn't show up, we rescheduled and they showed up to walk me through my own landscaping and said they'd send me a quote. This was a month ago. They effectively ghosted me. I then just did the work myself since they didn't reply back ever. They were nice people but they seem to either pick and choose who they'll do work for or perhaps have too much work they can't take on anyone new. But this is just assumption.

When my wife hired Dirty Girls for a job in our backyard I was happy. I had always seen their sign and trailer around and I thought that one day I would use their services. Until it became a nightmare. They were supposed to create a sand bed for an above the ground pool, and they did it. It's everything else about them that I would never hire them again. Let's start with the request to pay 75% in advance. A little too much, but not an uncommon request. Second, the time of the project. They were supposed to come on a Saturday to start dig few inches of soil, move the pile of sand from the front yard to the backyard (I'm in an HOA... you may know what it means) and go on with the job. We didn't see them until few days after. They worked few hours in the afternoon, didn't move the pile of sand, said they were coming back the day after but guess what? No they didn't come. And the same the day after that. My wife asked them why they were not coming to work and they said they had other jobs to work on. And what about our job?. So, a one day job for the right professionals, became a two weeks job with them. Not only this, they create the sand bed for the pool, but they left a huge mess around at the point that my backyard looks like a war field. There is still a small pile of sand in my backyard, just left there. And what about tall the soil that removed to create the bed for the pool? It was spread in an other area of my backyard, but they said they would bring a tiller trying to fix it a little bit. Never done. In the front yard I have a significant depression on the ground where they were going back and fort with a machine to move the sand. Now, when it rains I get a small lake in that area. They are disorganized, un-respectful of the money that you pay them to work for you. In my opinion, do not hire them for anything bigger than cutting the grass, plant flowers and all the basic lawn care. If you need a bigger job, look somewhere else.

DO NOT USE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN BASIC LAWNCARE. Emily stated her and her crew were able to do a driveway extension. A two day job turned into four weeks. She walked off the job at 1030 at night after pouring concrete. She left our driveway and our yard destroyed. We now have to pay to have all of the work she complete pulled up and demolished. She did not lay a deep or long enough foundation or make the pad large enough to fit a second car. She did not move the pieces and instead placed concrete blocks over them and caused damage to our irrigation system. We have attempted to reach out to the owner Emily to correct or recoup the money lost and she is refusing to answer our emails.
